He and JFK were probably the last presidents with any conscience, though Nixon, a mere crook who looks tame compared to the kind of blatant corruption we see every day, had a conscience and cared about the environment and gave us the protections that people from his party are trying to undo today. This is why I keep harping on politics - this is kindergarten level of what is really happening. Look up, people - to the TOP of the pyramid. Politics is close to the very bottom, and we should be evolving beyond it and throwing off its chains in every aspect of our lives, including social and societal.
Vietnam started to open more people's eyes - and then with Iraq, like with so many other countries we invaded, it was finally there for all to see, and yet STILL millions of Americans on both sides of the political cesspool believed that the war against Iraq was necessary - like all the others we waged on countries that dared be sovereign and not obey. the corporatocracy has been in power for centuries. How about the U.S. blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline and polluting the oceans for generations to come - and now they are blaming Ukraine - as we send them more weapons and egg them on in that unnecessary war? What war is truly necessary when you break it down to the actual facts? People need to wake up and smell the BS.
Well, to his credit, Tucker has expressed deep self remorse for his prior support of the invasion of Iraq. I don't think he is getting all the "credit" so much as he is where the full horrendous truth breaks out like a dam breaking. Truth takes decades to emerge and I suspect he would be the first to say he was brainwashed for a long time before he woke up. Like all of us, on so many subjects. Me too. I used to think many insane lies were true. I used to get annoyed at people who said 9/11 was an inside job, in the early years. Until you see the whole beast system, learn all its patterns, it's easy to believe all kids of things. These days I believe not one word coming from any of these people, including what their names are.
All good points that you make, and I listened, and agree with what you say here. As people wake up, we all will need to forgive ourselves and others for the brainwash. More is being revealed every day. The thing we all need to watch for is what kind of spin is put onto any story, and to what end. Who gains from that spin? That is a lot of work but it seems once you start to wake up, you realize that you have to do this work because you really want to know what's true, as much as we ever can. If more and more of us do this in our fields or areas of expertise, it will be more and more difficult for them to hide these truths away.

That said, I listened to Tucker's broadcast and I have respect, after listening. Maybe now that he is not affiliated with "permanent Washington" via mainscream media, he will be completely unfettered and say what he wants, after having seen the inside of the swamp from all sides. I hope so.
No matter where you fall on the political score sheet, it's hard to argue with anything Tucker said last night. And that's the sadness of it...how far into the gutter the DC Swamp has trampled upon its citizens.

55.5 million at 7:28 a.m. Pacific time. (I watched it last night) eloquent. beautiful. truth. Not depressing; more and more people waking up. There will always be more of us than them. They cannot touch our souls.
Went to Ron Paul's event on nihilism and the war machines. They laid out exactly what Tucker said. I didn't see Tucker at this small event - perhaps he was there incognito. Who was sitting at my table was an ex-Marine who slowly realized in Iraq the lies. He wasn't the only military member. They were still patriotic just no longer fools.
