Hi did they rule out B12 deficiency as a cause of the degeneration? It's very common yet poorly diagnosed. Good blood tests are Active B12, Methylmalonic Acid and Homocysteine. https://www.msdmanuals.com/en-gb/home/brain,-spinal-cord,-and-nerve-disorders/spinal-cord-disorders/subacute-combined-degeneration

Are you feeling better? Did you have Lyme disease or Covid-19? I listened to a great spine surgeon and he really warned people, do not to get surgery unless there is no alternative. this was a 90-minute radio show, and he explained how powerful our repair system is . We need to get the circulation to the spine. He said even a crushed disc can be healed by our body, without surgery.

Please learn how to bring healing circulation to the problem areas.

I totally empathize with what you are going through. I sincerely am glad to hear that you know the cause, that is often the hardest part, just figuring out the diagnosis. Then once you do know, you can set about a plan to deal with it. You are strong!

Good news, Celia. Since you disclosed this information, I humbly recommend that you read "Mind over Back Pain" by Dr. John Sarno. Don't know if he' still alive, but if so, he had practiced in NYC. I, too, was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal issue. Almost had surgery as a young man. Glad I didn't and owe it all to Dr. Sarno.
