That's quite an honor and you deserve it. I agree - Fitts is awesome. I wonder if pickleball is getting so popular because it combines walking and running, but doing something really satisfying (whacking a ball) while you do it?

MYHA! Perfect! And what better way to kick off MYHA than an article about regular exercise which trumps pretty much everything else in the field of health, including diet and maybe even including smoking versus non-smoking!

A spectacular paths crossing of two truth-telling women of intelligence, integrity, and good will. Two of the most admirable I'm aware of.

I don't know that there's anything I find more encouraging than seeing the paths of such people cross. Once unknown to each other, their natures bring them to the same information, and their intelligence and open-minds allow them to contemplate it and, ultimately, come to similar conclusions, and then to each other.

Gives me genuine hope for a different kind of human society.

Many thanks to you, Celia.

You are probably one of my top 3 writers on Substack because of the wide range of subjects you address. Some may be in the same vein, but there's always something new and interesting that make me think outside the lines.

MYHA is an interesting name for the movement because I see so many from MAGA and MAHA that are just happy to sit back and wait for Donald Trump or RFK Jr. to fix their problems for them, and yes, there are certain things that only they can address. But too many times I see so many that refuse to get involved and expect that problems will magically fix themselves, because MAGA or MAHA will fix problems for them if they just put those acronyms in their social media bio.

MYHA is a perfect reminder people need to be taking personal responsible for their own lives and well being, and while we're at it, maybe run for the school board or local government?

Because the only way to truly Make America Great Again is for good people to step up and take personal responsibility for their community's well being, starting at the bottom and working up. That was the plan that the nefarious infiltrators residing at high levels who despise America and her ideals used to take power and implement their plan to destroy us.

That same plan, will, in the end, save our country.

It's all up to us.

Thank you Celia! And yes, you deserve kudos for the MYHA acronym!! Members of my hiking club (average age about 74) had a chuckle over the strict clinical description of IWT (Interval Walking Training). Rather than assiduously switch speeds every 3 minutes, we just get out and hike, walking briskly at first, panting on the uphill stretches, cruising on the level, slowing down every now and then to take in the view, identify an unusual wildflower, or wait for the slower walkers to catch up. That works too!

Oh, and I love the Flamenco video!!
